We are pleased to announce the following acts have made it to the finals and will perform on April 8, 2017 at Martinsville High School.
Aaron Crowe is a pianist who plays in marching and concert bands. He will tinkle the ivories at SOVA’s Got Talent on April 8.
Blair Oakley has been tap dancing since the age of three. She trains at The Dance Studio in Collinsville and says dancing is her "passion." She will show off her dance skills at SOVA's Got Talent on April 8.
DJ Holland has participated in color guard and winter guard for three years. He will perform a contemporary dance at SOVA’s Got Talent on April 8.
Harley Brown and Megan Hodges
Harley Brown and Megan Hodges clogged their way to first place in Franklin County’s Got Talent in 2015. They came in fourth at Nationals and have won many regional titles. They will bring their award-winning clogging to SOVA's Got Talent on April 8.
Jenni Gregory has been in many plays and musicals, as well as an extra in movies and on TV shows like Under the Dome. She'll belt out a hot jazz number at SOVA's Got Talent on April 8.
Kimoni Draper is a singer who has performed in choir and talent shows. She will perform at SOVA’s Got Talent on April 8.
Featuring Kendall Ledyard, Noah Snell and Josh Koger, Last Sorrow has plenty of practice rocking out as part of their church worship team. They will play an original song at SOVA’s Got Talent on April 8.
McKenna is a junior at Franklin County High School and a member of the National Honors Society. She has been singing all her life and has been involved in voice and piano lessons and a member of the musical theater group at Blue Ridge Performing Art Academy for five years. Most recently, McKenna was crowned SML Idol Fall 2017 Champion! She is a "professional" National Anthem singer and has sung the Star Spangled Banner at multiple events for veterans, Rotary festivals, race tracks, and other community events since she was about 8 years old.
Michelle Graham has been a professional national anthem singer for 35 years. She has performed with Green Briar Valley Theatre and PHCC Patriot Players. She will wow the crowd with an Etta James classic at SOVA’s Got Talent on April 8.
The Delics is a local garage rock band that writes and performs it's own style of blues/rock influenced by Iggy and The Stooges, The Doors, and Detroit rock bands such as MC5. The lead vocal is Preston Painter, lead guitar/organist is Angus Hobson, lead guitar is Matt Bryant, bass is Scout Wiles, and drummer is Austin Gilbert.
